No new app.

Parents already use WhatsApp. Teachers already use WhatsApp. Vartalap works where they already are, so there is nothing to install.

Ask the way you would ask a person.

Parents write in Hindi, English, or a mix of both. Vartalap answers from the school’s own records: the timetable, the marks, the fees.

Sample conversation.

A parent links their number to their child with a six-digit code. After that, only that parent sees that child’s information. A parent with more than one child simply says the name.

It remembers. And it can call.

A parent can ask for a reminder in plain words. Or ask Vartalap to call with tomorrow’s timetable, and an AI voice reads it out in Hindi or another Indian language.

Sample conversation.

Fee reminders, handled politely.

For pending fees, Vartalap places a courteous call to the parent. It never asks for card details, a UPI PIN, or an OTP.

Sample conversation.

Teachers write. Vartalap confirms.

A teacher types “Rohan, Maths 85/100” on WhatsApp. Vartalap reads it back and waits. Only when the teacher replies yes is anything saved. Batch fee-reminder calls follow the same rule: confirm first, then it runs.

Not a replacement. A layer.

Vartalap does not replace the school’s ERP. It sits on top of it, so the school keeps the system it already has.

Fewer repeated questions reaching the front desk.

Fee follow-ups that happen without chasing.

Less time spent on data entry.

Where it stands.

Vartalap is a working demo. We are looking for the first schools to build the pilot with.
